PDG-V455 Overview
In order to protect the photodiodes against damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. Photodiodes are packaged in TO-5 Variant, 2 Leads, Lens Top Metal Can packages in order to ensure their safety. Continually operating in reverse-bias mode, a photodiode's maximum voltage is 100V. A continuous reverse-bias voltage of 100V should be maintained for the photodiodes. There is 10pA current flowing through a photodiode even in the absence of light input.
