In order to prevent damage, these photodiodes are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in 0806 (2015 Metric) packages for safety purposes. As long as the photodiodes are operated in reverse- bias mode continuously, their maximum voltage is 10V. It is important that the reverse-bias voltage of the photodiodes do not exceed 10V continuously. A photodiode conducts 10nA current without light input.
