PDB-C440-46B Overview
In order to protect the photodiodes against damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into TO-46-2 Lens Top Metal Can packages. Continuously reverse-biasing photodiodes can withstand 75V voltage. When operating in reverse-bias mode, the photodiodes should not exceed 75V. When photodiodes operate, they should not be subjected to temperatures higher than 70°C. But the photodiodes should operate at a temperature of -15°C. In the absence of light input, a photodiode produces 150pA current.
