It is important to protect PTC thermistors from damage by placing them in Radial packages. It is advisable to set the PTC thermistors to -40°C as the minimum operating temperature. A temperature of 125°C should not be exceeded during operation of this thermistor. These thermistors have 2 pins. The PTC thermistors are designed for a 700mA current. When using PTC thermistors, the current shouldn't exceed 4.3A.
