The high-performance ARM? Cortex?-M3 32-bit RISC core operates at a frequency of 32 MHz (33.3 DMIPS) in the ultra-low-power STM32L100C6U6A device. It also features a memory protection unit (MPU), high-speed embedded memories (Flash memory up to 128 Kbytes and RAM up to 16 Kbytes), and a wide variety of enhanced I/Os and peripherals connected to two APB buses.
A 12-bit ADC, two DACs, two ultra-low-power comparators, six general-purpose 16-bit timers, and two basic timers that can be used as time bases are all provided by each device.
Additionally, the STM32L100C6U6A device has up to two I2Cs and SPIs, three USARTs, and a USB, among other conventional and cutting-edge communication interfaces.
A real-time clock with sub-second counting and a group of backup registers that are powered when in Standby mode is also included.
The integrated LCD controller also includes a built-in LCD voltage generator that enables it to run up to 8 multiplexed LCDs with independent contrast from the supply voltage.
The STM32L100C6U6A device's ultra-low power supply ranges from 1.8 to 3.6 V. They are offered in the temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. The development of low-power applications is made possible by a wide range of power-saving modes.
