BF259 Overview
In this device, the DC current gain is 25 @ 30mA 10V, which is the ratio between the base current and the collector current.As it features a collector emitter saturation voltage of 1V, it allows for maximum design flexibility.VCE saturation indicates Ic is at maximum level (saturated), whereas vce saturation (Max) indicates there is no saturation.The base voltage of the emitter can be kept at 5V to achieve high efficiency.As you can see, the part has a transition frequency of 90MHz.A maximum collector current of 100mA volts can be achieved.
