1812L020 Overview
In order to protect the PTC thermistors from damage, they are packaged in 1812 packages. ldeally, the PTC thermistors should operate at -40°C. There must be no temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to function. There are 2 terminations on the PTC thermistor. It is possible for PTC thermistors to provide voltages of 30V when they are operating. For PTC thermistors, 100A is the current. Heat produced by PTC thermistors is rated as 0.8W. In PTC thermistors, the current should not exceed 100A.
