In order to protect the PTC thermistors from damage, they are packaged in 0603 packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape (CT) for safety reasons. ldeally, the PTC thermistors should operate at -40°C. There must be no temperature above 125°C for this thermistor to function. In this thermistor, there are 2 pins. It is possible for PTC thermistors to provide voltages of 32V when they are operating. During DC operation, this thermistor should not supply more voltage than 32V. DC circuits have thermistors rated at 32V maximum voltage.
