The PTC thermistors are put into 0603 packages to protect the devices from damage. These PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety protection. The minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors should be set to -20°C. To make sure this thermistor works, the operating temperature must not exceed 160°C.
