A Tape & Box (TB) package protects these photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into Radial packages. A photodiode is equipped with 2 pins. A circuit made up of photodiodes could release heat 150mW. It is generally recommended that the maximum heat released by photodiodes should be 150mW in a circuit. As a result of reverse bias, the photodiodes could produce voltages of 30V. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 30nA current.
