OPF432 Overview
A Bulk package protects these photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into TO-46-3 packages. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 100V when operating in reverse-bias mode continuously. Reverse-bias photodiodes should not be operated above 100V permanently. A photodiode is equipped with 3 pins. A circuit made up of photodiodes could release heat 200mW. While operating photodiodes, the temperature should not exceed 100°C. However, the minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes should be set at -40°C. It is recommended that the reverse anode voltage on the photodiodes be 100V. As a result of reverse bias, the photodiodes could produce voltages of 100V. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 100pA current.
