PD101SC0SS Overview
A Tube package protects these photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into Side View packages. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 5V when operating in reverse-bias mode continuously. Reverse-bias photodiodes should not be operated above 5V permanently. A photodiode is equipped with 2 pins. Without light input, a photodiode will produce 1nA current.
