PD638B Overview
In order to protect these photodiodes from damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. It is necessary to place the photodiodes into Radial packages in order to protect them from damage. A continuous reverse-bias mode can only sustain 170V voltage per photodiode. Continuously reverse-bias the photodiodes shouldn't exceed 170V. It has 2 pins for the photodiodes. Without light, a photodiode has 5nA current.
