The electrical component comes in CDIP packaging, which makes it convenient to ship overseas. An abnormal situation would be for the switch device to be supplied with a voltage greater than 36V. 13V is the lowest voltage that should be fed to the electronic electronic part. Dual supply volatge is feasible for this multiplexer. But it should not go beyond 22V. A dual power supply should have at least 7V voltage attached.
