To prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, they are packaged in Disc, 4.0mm Dia x 3.0mm W packages. PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) as a safety measure. Temperature -40°C is the minimum operating temperature for PTC thermistors. This thermistor must not operate above 165°C in order for it to work.
