TPS62088YFPR Description
The TPS62088YFPR family of high-frequency synchronous step-down converters is designed to be small in size and efficient. Common battery technologies are supported with an input voltage range of 2.4 V to 5.5 V. The converter runs in PWM mode at medium to heavy loads and automatically switches to power save mode at light loads to maintain high efficiency over the entire load current range. The device's forced PWM version maintains CCM operation regardless of load. The device's 4-MHz switching frequency enables it to utilize low-cost external components. Excellent load transient performance and output voltage regulation accuracy are achieved thanks to the DCS-control architecture. Overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown protection, active output discharge, and power good are among the other built-in features.
