Description
Featuring an integrated high-side MOSFET, the TPS54360BDDA is a 60-V, 3.5-A step-down regulator. Simple external compensation and a variety of component options are offered by current mode control. A low ripple pulse skip mode lowers the no-load supply current to 146 μA. By pulling the enable pin low, the shutdown supply current is decreased to 2 μA.
The inbuilt setting for Undervoltage lockout is 4.3 V, but it can be raised by connecting an enable pin. A regulated start-up and elimination of overshoot are achieved by internally controlling the output voltage start-up ramp.
Either efficiency or external component size can be enhanced with a large switching-frequency range. Internal and exterior components are safeguarded during an overload state via frequency foldback and thermal shutdown.
An 8-pin thermally improved HSOIC PowerPADTM packaging for the TPS54360BDDA is also offered.
