TPS63002DRCR is a kind of high-efficient buck-boost converter designed to provide a power supply solution for all two-cell and three-cell Alkaline, NiCd or NiMH or single-cell Li battery powered products. When this converter operates with the power-save mode, it is able to maintain high efficiency over a wide range of load current. If the power-save mode is disabled, it will operate at a fixed switching frequency. During shutdown of the converter, the load is always disconnected from the battery due to the 4-switch topology.
