VIPER12AS Description
VIPER12AS is a Primary Switcher with a Low Power Off-Line Switched-Mode Power Supply. On the same silicon chip, the VIPER12AS combines a dedicated current mode PWM controller with a high voltage power MOSFET. The large input voltage range on the VDD pin accommodates fluctuations in auxiliary supply voltage, automated burst mode in low load conditions, and overvoltage protection in HICCUP mode are all features of the internal control circuit. Off-line power supplies for battery charger adapters, standby power supplies for TVs or monitors, and auxiliary supplies for motor control are all common applications.
