TIP31C Product Details
TIP31C Description : TIP31C is an NPN transistor that comes in a TO-220 packaging. This transistor's primary function is to be used in general-purpose applications. It comes in four different varieties, each distinguishable by the last alphabet used after the transistor number. TIP31, TIP31A, TIP31B, and TIP31C are the numbers. The voltage ratings of this transistor series vary. In comparison to other transistor series, the TIP31C series transistor has a maximum load voltage of 100V but a collector current of 3A. The collector current is the same in all part numbers, which is 3A for continuous use and 5A for peak or pulse usage. The transistor can be utilized for a variety of switching and amplification applications. It can switch quickly and drive multiple loads at once when used as a switch. Aside from that, it works well as an audio amplifier and can be used in audio amplifier stages.
