BD708 Overview
In this device, the DC current gain is 15 @ 4A 4V, which is the ratio between the base current and the collector current.A collector emitter saturation voltage of 1V ensures maximum design flexibility.A VCE saturation (Max) of 1V @ 400mA, 4A means Ic has reached its maximum value(saturated).An emitter's base voltage can be kept at 5V to gain high efficiency.In the part, the transition frequency is 3MHz.During maximum operation, collector current can be as low as 12A volts.
