PD100MC0MP Overview
Photodiodes are enclosed in Tape & Reel (TR) to prevent damage. Photodiodes are packaged in Side View packages in order to ensure their safety. Continuous reverse-bias means the photodiodes can withstand only 20V voltage. When reverse-biased, the photodiodes should not continually exceed 20V. Photodiodes have pins 2. There is a possibility that photodiodes could release 75mW heat within a circuit. As a rule of thumb, when photodiodes are operating, the temperature should not exceed 85°C. The minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes, however, should be set to -30°C. A reverse anode voltage of 20V should be applied to the photodiodes. There is 10nA current flowing through a photodiode even in the absence of light input.
