To protect them from damage, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in Side View packages. When operating in reverse-bias mode, the photodiodes should not exceed 10V. Reverse-biased photodiodes could supply 10V voltage. In the absence of light input, a photodiode produces 3pA current.
