PNZ334 Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure their safety, the photodiodes are packaged into Radial, 5mm Dia (T 1 3/4) packages. When photodiodes are continuously reverse-biased, the maximum voltage they can withstand is 30V. Photodiodes in reverse-bias mode should not continuously exceed 30V. Even in the absence of light input, a photodiode occurs 100pA current.
