MC36210 Overview
In order to protect the PTC thermistors from damage, they are packaged in SMD/SMT packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape for safety reasons. ldeally, the PTC thermistors should operate at -40°C. There must be no temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to function. It is possible for PTC thermistors to provide voltages of 6V when they are operating. During normal operation, this thermistor supplies 6V voltage. DC circuits use thermistors rated at 6V voltage. In PTC thermistors, the current should not exceed 100A. It is recommended that the thermistor supply voltage be kept at 6V for reliable performance. During DC operation, this thermistor should not supply more voltage than 6V.
