MC33159 Overview
It is important to protect PTC thermistors from damage by placing them in Radial packages. It is advisable to set the PTC thermistors to -40°C as the minimum operating temperature. A temperature of 85°C should not be exceeded during operation of this thermistor. PTC thermistors could operate at 30V voltages. These thermistors were rated for 30V voltage in the DC circuit. Thermal conductivity of PTC thermistors is 800mW.
