The linear amplifier is packaged in a 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) case which makes it easy for the consumer to handle. General Purpose-type instrumentation amplifiers are used in this application. A Tube case is used for delivering the op amp. The number of terminations approaches 8. Buffer amplifier has a total of 8 pins.
