MTPD1346D-010 Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. A safety package containing the photodiodes is provided for their protection. When photodiodes are continuously reverse-biased, the maximum voltage they can withstand is 5V. When the photodiodes are reverse-biased, the voltage should never exceed 5V. The current in a photodiode is 1μA even when there is no light input.
