1812L260MR Overview
For protection, PTC thermistors are packaged in 1812 packages. Using PTC thermistors at -40°C temperature should be their minimum operating temperature. There must not be an increase in temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to work. PTC thermometers have 2 terminations. A PTC thermistor could supply 8V voltage when it is in operation. PTC thermistors have been designed to operate at 40A volts. In order to avoid overheating, PTC thermistors should be kept at a 40A current.
