MC36235 Overview
Into SMD/SMT packages, PTC thermistors are put to prevent damage. In order to ensure the safety of these PTC thermistors, they are packaged in Cut Tape. Setting the minimum operating temperature of PTC thermistors to -40°C is recommended. If this thermistor is to work correctly, it must operate at 85°C. While operating, the PTC thermistors could output 16V voltage. A DC circuit uses 16V to rate these thermistors. PTC thermistors should produce 1W heat. This thermistor should not provide voltages higher than 16V in a DC circuit. For DC circuits, these thermistors can handle voltages up to 16V.
