1812L150PR Overview
1812 packages are used for PTC thermistors to prevent the devices from being damaged. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety purposes. For PTC thermistors, the minimum operating temperature should be -40°C. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. PTC thermistors have terminations of type 2. PTCC thermistors have been designed for a current of 40A. Ildeally, the current through PTC thermistors should be less than 40A.
