LTC6655BHLS8-5 Description


A full series of precision bandgap voltage references, the LTC®6655 provides outstanding noise and drift performance. For the high resolution measurements needed by instruments and test equipment, this low noise and drift is excellent. The LTC6655 is also completely specified for use in the -40°C to 125°C temperature range, guaranteeing that it is appropriate for severe industrial and automotive applications. This bandgap reference may produce an output voltage accurate to ±0.025%, a temperature characteristic that is predictable, and a drift of less than 2ppm/°C, which reduces or eliminates the requirement for calibration.

From as little as 500 mV above the output voltage to as much as 13.2V, the LTC6655 can be powered. Consistent performance under a variety of operating situations is ensured by excellent load regulation with source and sink capability and superior line rejection. For low power applications, there is a shutdown mode available.

Both an 8-lead LS8 package and an 8-lead MSOP packaging are available for the LTC6655 references. With a 5mm × 5mm surface mount hermetic packaging, the LS8 offers exceptional stability.
