PD438B/L1 Overview
The Bulk protects these photodiodes from damage. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-226-2, TO-92-2 Long Body packages. A continuous reverse-bias voltage of 170V should be maintained for the photodiodes. 2 pins are present on the photodiodes. During a circuit, the photodiodes could release 150mW heat. Photodiodes should have a reverse anode voltage of 32V. Despite the absence of light, photodiodes make 5nA current.
