PDI-V488-46 Overview
A Bulk package protects these photodiodes from damage. It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in TO-46-2 Metal Can packages for safety purposes. Reverse-bias photodiodes can withstand a maximum of 75V in continuous reverse-bias mode. When reverse-biased, the photodiodes should not continually exceed 75V. A photodiode is capable of conducting 150pA current even without light input.
