The LT1764 is a low dropout requlator optimized for fast transient response. The device is capable of supplving 3A of output current with a dropout voltage of340mV.Oper ating quiescent current is imA, dropping to <1uA in shutdown. Quiescentcurrentis well controlled; itdoes not rise in dropout as it does with many other requlators.in adcition to fast transient responsethe 21764 has ver low output voltage noise which makes the device ideal for sensitive RF supply applications.
