PDG-V455-46 Overview
Bulk is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-2 Metal Can packages. When reverse-bias is applied continuously, the photodiodes are able to withstand only 75V voltage. When operating in reverse-bias mode, the photodiodes should not exceed 75V. A photodiode occurs even at 150pA current without light input.
