PDB-C166 Overview
Photodiodes are enclosed in Bulk to prevent damage. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in Metallized Ceramic packages. Continuous reverse-bias means the photodiodes can withstand only 100V voltage. When operating in reverse-bias mode, the photodiodes should not exceed 100V. The current in a photodiode is 1nA even when there is no light input.
