PDI-V485-46 Overview
Photodiodes are enclosed in Bulk to prevent damage. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in TO-46-2 Metal Can packages. When photodiodes are continuously reverse-biased, the maximum voltage they can withstand is 75V. Reverse-bias photodiodes should not be operated above 75V permanently. It is possible for a photodiode to operate at 150pA current even if no light is provided.
