As a precaution, linear position measuring sensors are packaged in Module packages in order to protect them from damage. The Bulk package contains this electronic component. The supply voltage applied by the linear position measuring sensor should be 5V when it operates. The linear position sensor will, however, not provide a voltage that is lower than 5V on the DC circuit. Linear position sensing sensors cannot be used to measure voltages lower than 3.3V. In order for this angle position measuring sensor to function correctly, it must release a voltage of 3.3V.
