Keeping PTC thermistors in Radial packages prevents them from being damaged. Packaged in the Bulk for safety, these PTC thermistors are designed to perform at high temperatures. Ensure that the PTC thermistors are set to -55°C as their minimum operating temperature. In order for this thermistor to work properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 70°C. A thermistor like this has 2 pins. When operating, PTC thermistors could deliver a voltage of 40V. There should be no possibility of the thermistor overheating as a result of this power loss. A reliable performance can be achieved by using a thermistor that supplies a maximum voltage of 40V.
