TFPT1206L6800FV Overview
In order to protect the PTC thermistors from damage, they are packaged in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. There are 2 terminations on the PTC thermistor. Ideally, this power loss can be transferred and conducted by the thermistor without it overheating. Heat produced by PTC thermistors is rated as 0.125W.
