TFPT1206L4700FV Overview
In order to protect the PTC thermistors from damage, they are packaged in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. There are 2 terminations on the PTC thermistor. In this thermistor, there are 1206 pins. Ideally, this power loss can be transferred and conducted by the thermistor without it overheating. During normal operation, this thermistor supplies 50V voltage. Heat produced by PTC thermistors is rated as 0.125W.
