TFPT0805L2700FV Overview
Into 0805 (2012 Metric) packages, PTC thermistors are put to prevent damage. In order to ensure the safety of these PTC thermistors, they are packaged in Tape & Reel (TR). Setting the minimum operating temperature of PTC thermistors to -55°C is recommended. If this thermistor is to work correctly, it must operate at 150°C. It has 2 pins. Ideally, the thermistor should be able to handle and conduct this power loss without overheating. PTC thermistors should produce 100mW heat. For reliable performance, this thermistor should supply 0 volts.
