A NTC thermistor must have a resistance tolerance of ±1% in order to operate. For reliable performance, NTC thermistors should be set to -40°C~125°C. Temperatures of 125°C provide reliable operation of NTC thermistors. It's best to operate NTC thermistors at -40°C for reliability.
