A NTC thermistor must have a resistance tolerance of ±2% in order to operate. For reliable performance, NTC thermistors should be set to -40°C~150°C. Temperatures of 150°C provide reliable operation of NTC thermistors. It's best to operate NTC thermistors at -40°C for reliability. In order for NTC thermistors to work properly, they must have their 2 pins connected. The thermistors set their maximum power to 70mW. It is possible for NTC thermistors to operate at a maximum power dissipation of 70mW.
