OP993 Overview
The photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk to prevent damage. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into TO-18 packages. Continually operating in reverse-bias mode, a photodiode's maximum voltage is 60V. In reverse-bias mode, the voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 60V continuously. There are 2 pins on the photodiodes. It is possible for the photodiodes within a circuit to release 100mW heat. When photodiodes are operating, the temperature should not exceed 100°C. However, the photodiodes should be operated at a minimum temperature of -40°C. For photodiodes, the reverse anode voltage should be 60V. In order for current to flow across a photodiode, the voltage must be 1.2V. In reverse-bias mode, the photodiodes could supply 60V. Photodiodes exhibit 1nA current even in the absence of light input.
