UCC387DPTR Description
The UCC386/7/8 positive linear pass regulator family is designed for exceptionally low quiescent power low-dropout applications. The UCC386/7/8 is fabricated with BiCMOS technology and is best suited for low input to output differential applications. It can pass 200 mA while only requiring 200 mV of input voltage headroom. Quiescent current normally doesn't exceed 10 A. The minimum forward voltage is typically limited by on-chipcircuitry to 50 mV in order to prevent reverse current conduction. As the input voltage declines after the forward voltage limit is reached and the regulator is disabled by undervoltage lockout, the input-output differential voltage is maintained.
