UC3833DWTRG4 Description


Precision linear regulators from the UC2832 and UC3833 series come with all the control features needed to create very low dropout linear regulators. They also have a novel duty-ratio current limitation approach, which limits the average power consumption of the external pass transistor during fault conditions while providing peak load capacity. A gated-astable timer is enabled when the load current reaches a precisely programmed threshold, switching the regulator's pass device on and off at an externally programmable duty-ratio.
