UC2836DW Description
The UC2836DW linear controllers are designed with low dropout, low-cost linear regulators in mind. Dropout voltages of less than 0.5B are easily produced using an external pass element. This device has a precision reference, a 250 mA output driver, and a high gain error amplifier. Furthermore, current sense with fold-back allows for an output current peak of 2.5A that drops to less than 0.5A during a short circuit.
