UA79M05-W Description
The UA79M05-W is intended to be used in conjunction with this series of fixed-negative-voltage integrated circuit voltage regulators in a variety of applications. Among these uses is on-card regulation, which reduces noise and the distribution issues brought on by single-point regulation. These regulators each have an output current capacity of 500 mA. These regulators are essentially impervious to overload because of their inbuilt current-limiting and thermal-shutdown features. These components can be utilized as precision regulators' power-pass components as well as fixed-voltage regulators, obtaining adjustable output voltages and currents by combining them with external components.
